Man you did a great job. I like how you kept the song sounding really close to max. I can't sing the notes max did in this key without it sounded very weak, so I had to hide that by changing the verse melodies and layering the vocals with a ton of harmonies hahaha.

here's what I did with it. I felt with the electronic stuff it definitely needed some autotuned vocals, and I just figured out how to use autotune in garageband. this took about 2 and a half hours... or more hahaha.

The beginning of that song really is very similar. It would probably work. The autotune is really fun. Also the "porn" is a recording of phone sex. I thought it was appropriate. I was trying to get clips of max talking to line up, but the only interviews without music I found I could just get him saying "yeah" and "i'm great." The guy needs to beef up his vocab to work with porn clips.

I doubt we'll be hearing Max say "Oh yeah, sit on top of me. Ohh you feel so good inside of me." in interviews any time soon. =P I thought the phone sex part was an amazing fit.

I'll be honest, I'm not too into the autotune, but I guess with this being one of their more electronic songs it's somewhat fitting. Good covers overall, though. Kind of making me want to start on a cover myself... as soon as I have some time... back to school kind of sucks.

Yeah, well the autotune I thought fit because it was an electronic song. The song itself is not in my comfortable range so unless he put the song into that (which it's his song) then I would want some pitch correction anyway to help me out. Luckily, it was electronic. I probably wouldn't have done an acoustic cover because I know I can't sing in that range well.
