According to Max's twitter: There WILL be a second Max Bemis and the Painful Splits record sold next year at a very special SA event that I can't reveal yet....

Now let the speculations begin... My first thoughts would be a tour. They can't announce it yet so maybe Warped? They dont start announcing bands till December.

I doubt it's Warped. I don't remember where but i saw an interview with Max once and he said Warped kinda sucked. Like it was u know. hot. all day. just tiring and cramped. i dont think they loved playing it haha. so i dont think thats what it is. and im really hoping that the event. isn't like in one place. but i mean u don't think it wud be right? Like they'd have it in different cities?

Maybe they'll play all their albums straight through kinda like Motion City did last year!

I don't think I'd call what we're doing aiming as much as daydreaming. =P
It probably is going to be a CD release, or new label announcement or something similar.

My money's on them ending up on Vagrant
Classic emo label, home of STD, Two Tongues; Dashboard, TGUK, Thrice, AOF, Protest
And currently branching out into other genres
They treat their artists like gold, too

I reckon they'd go independant. Like Max said on the SA site once (i'd link but I can't be arsed trawling through it all..) about not being confined to a record label etc. Creative freedom and all that.
