The Keg is Bleeding

Post by drugshavemymind » Sat Oct 09, 2010 11:56 pm

Hey so I don't have a guitar with me at the moment, I'm out of town, but could someone get started on The Keg is Bleeding? I've been wanting to play this, it's a really good party song I reckon.

I'll have to find a recording of it and I'll take a look.

it needs to get the guitar on the left speaker, which isn't too bad but I just didn't have the time to do it. anybody wanna go for the other guitar?

Its awesomeee!! But just a question.. for the first part wouldnt it sound better with a full barre C chord or at it without the bass note:

Code: Select all

---------------x-------
-7--7--5-------3----5--
-7--5--5--OR---3----6--
-7--7--5-------3----7--
---------------5-------
-----------------------
Just wondering, I'm not good at all at tabbing by ear but it just seems like going from the (as i say) "chimey" chords to a heavy power chord sounds off slightly. Idk though.

While I was listening to it tgreg it sounded like just the powerchord without even the octave to me. I could be wrong but I'm thinking that is how he played it. Yes it would sound better doing the full barre C but then again Max has alot of chords clashing in the song anyway..

So it just boils down to your preference, do whatever you like better!
