Maxim and the Headphone Life

Postby jameslanham » Thu Jan 06, 2011 2:48 am

Hey I'm new to this but has anyone else fallen in love with this song? It features Max singing a duet with an artist named "Teeter" I believe.
Its by Ladybirds from the album "Regional Community Theater". Please check it out and tell me what you think! Also hello all! I love this website!

Yes yes! I bought the CD a few years ago and this song is my favorite off of it, and not even because of Max. This song and Andy Lex are the best on the CD no doubt. I always loved the line "Holiday in a perfect home, while you drank you maker's mark. Laughed at how you believed in God, I believe in whiskey more."

Also, the other song Max sings in is Regional Community Theater.

And this is very interesting. I went to link to their Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/weareladybirds) so people could listen Maxim and the Headphone Life without downloading the song... but the version on their Myspace is different than the album version. The Myspace used to have the album version last time I checked a few years ago. I like the album version WAY better... so go buy the CD!

Also, some fun facts!

The main artist behind LadybiRdS is Teeter, but the other guy who plays the drums and some synth and such is Tyler Pursel, the Keyboardist from Gym Class Heros. Also, Justin Pierre of Motion City Soundtracks had some part in writing the lyrics... although I'm not sure how big/small.
