That site really helped me for the first while. He covers basically everything you need to know, gives some theory, and his methods do work. Practice chord changes as he lays out and they will help ALOT (they're just really boring to do).

Re: What's your gear?
Guitars: Yamaha FG700S - Probably the best acoustic in its price range. Good sound, action, everything. I was really happy with this one. Fender Strat - Not exactly the best electric, but I got it for free so I can't complain. Does distortion well. Decent guitar, I'm satisfied with it. Some Johnson ...

Re: Say Anything / Motion City Tour Discussion
I'm having a hard time choosing between the merch table and the front row in front of the stage when they let us in the venue. When they toured with AVA (I think that's who they were! Haha) I just left the front after SA played and went to the merch then, and if there is some sort of pattern to who...
Re: Books
I pretty much never read books (I've probably read 4-5 novels in my life) but Jake gave me a kinda cool book at the Portland show on this tour. It's called "Everybody Hurts" (maybe Everyone....I don't have it at the moment). It's like the encyclopedia on emo kids, its hilarious. Say Anything is ment...

Re: Say Anything / Motion City Tour Discussion
They haven't, and I can almost guarantee they won't :( . I was talking with Chris for a good half hour and he said that they didn't get much time to practice, so Crawl is the only one they're doing. Plus, with Kenny playing SA's bass for this tour, he does Crawl as well, so having him learn even mor...

Re: Say Anything / Motion City Tour Discussion
Not sure if anyone else has said this (didn't wanna go through the 4 pages I haven't read) but in Seattle tonight we got a double encore. They played Plea and Admit It!. i Can die happy.

SA Tattoos?
Someone was mentioning they were going to get an SA tattoo in the intro thread. Anyone else either planning on or already have any? I'm getting Sherri to design me a tattoo with something to do with the "Don't give up, live the dream, even if you don't believe" lyrics from Mara and Me. It might end ...

Re: Meeting Say Anything......
Another pointer is to leave after SA's set, even if other bands are playing after. I didn't care about AVA at all so I was talking to the merch guy. Ended up running in to everyone except Max and Coby. We just sat outside talking for about an hour. All the bands on this tour are awesome though, so I...

Colorblind
Here comes the sadness that I miss so much That lonely aching comes from every touch I’ve grown accustomed to the grays and blacks Because they’re always coming back (coming back) Sit down for supper, won’t you dine with me Or can’t you handle seeing all I see I’ve grown to colorblind to cease my bi...
