The OFFICIAL Say Anything Cover Thread
Hey all,
This is somewhat embarrassing, but this is a cover I did of Woe when I was around 17. I am now almost 21. I sing offkey but hey it's okay. A friend played the drums and I recorded all the instruments and all the singing. Alot of this is midi as well..

The song sounds pretty hot, man. Glad my tab was able to help you out.
About the tab/gp5, my hard drive started acting funny a couple of months ago and began making some ugly noises so I unplugged it until I can afford a new hard drive to back up everything asap. This should happen by the 20th and I'll share what I have and try to finish it... just the distorted guitar for the interlude is all that I haven't worked out yet.
Back to your cover, I think you should try with a 2nd instrument comparable to the real song's 2nd (clean) guitar. I'm not saying to go figure it out or try to recreate it, but at least recreate it in spirit. There is a bit during the interlude with the high pitched vibraphone where you do this. It's not accurate to the original, but that's not the point. It sounds great with the more minor tone and ambient sound of your cover and I'm all over it.
Here's a jumping off point (again =P) if you want. The 2nd (clean) guitar during the verses, the part that echos, I remember I figured to be this:
Again, I really like the sound of your cover. I never really imagined Tremors slower like this but it fits the sound. Great job!
