That line is from the Secret Origins demo. He changed it to the "pills I ate for breakfast" on the album.

If I remember correctly (Don't hold me to it!), Max posted on Twitter that the "I hate.." the singer with the denim skin is about the lead vocalist of Incubus.
And the "I hate.." the rapper in the Lexus was Kanye West.
I could be wrong, but for some reason I believe he posted that on Twitter a longggg time ago.

I think the denim skin singer is actually Brandon Flowers of The Killers. But yeah I remember seeing Max talk about that when answering some questions on twitter some time ago.
