most people haven't heard this and i recommend that you do asap. it's one of my favorites. i think it's like a wake up call song but it's one that can be taken a lot of ways line to line. know what i'm sayin??

I absolutely love this song; probably on my top three of SA songs. I'd say it's geared towards being afraid of the world/life passing you by ('afraid of sleeping in'). And he constantly sees people wasting away (the part with the couch/watching tv). But then, about how difficult it is to actually live when the world is so shitty and life brings ya down ('I feel so dead to the world just tell me where do I begin').
ANNDD then 'If only I were present then, I could be the president!' is my FAVORITE. I interpret it as feeling like you're not really there but if you WERE feeling alive well... you could do amazing things.
BUT yeah this is all just my two-cents ya'll should listen to this song it's awesome
