First I'd suggest you try playing it it half set down. The high notes ringing out sound a lot better in half step because you can play it on the high e and b strings together and the resonance is awesome.

Other than that, this sounds pretty close to how I play it. I do, however, play some more simple chords. Also, I normally strum the interlude instead of doing the picking. I've never taken the time to actually figure out the real interlude, but the chords I strum work perfectly in it's place.
