So i'm working my hardest on this and as of right now i now it's in standard tuning and it uses stretch and power chords on the 3rd fret and 5th and power chords on 8

am i really supposed to do that stretch note at the end of the verse? i can't hit it and picking it doesn't sound right. are you sure it's the right chord?

I'm positive, and I know it's a tricky note. Try using your index for the bass note, middle finger for the A string, and your pinky to hit that note that slides. Watch the video and I guarantee that's how he does it...damn you, Max Bemis...

If you're going to do that, the notes on the G string (teehee) would be 22-11...That's not how Max does it, but I guess I can see how that would be a little easier to play. Also I just watched the video of him playing Crush'd for Spin.com and he does some different stuff than what I originally posted, but it's basically all the same chords/tabs I posted, just in different orders. Just an fyi

Yeah the problem normally comes from Max having a bigger hand than some of us so we try to drop it to another string to make it easier.

the chords go from 2(E)-4(A)-7(D) then 2-4-6, not 2-4-8 to 2-4-7 in the verse
